Shop Manager Jordan recently visited Acorn Fisheries for a quick afternoon, the weather was wet, windy and very cold. After speaking to Mark Barlett, Jordan headed off to peg 10 in the deeper water, as the fish seem to hold up here in the colder months.

500 Stunning Scalley Carp have been introduced from 6lb -15lb to the Specimen Lake to ensure the future is bright.

Jordan say's:

Within literally 5 mins the siren sang, only a small common but nice to get a bend in the rod,  ended up bagging 4 fish in 3 hours, not the biggest of fish but who cares when they look like this!

If you want to get a bend in your rod this Winter and catch stunning pretty fish like this then acorn fisheries is the place!!

I used small PVA Bags of crushed Nash Monster Squid Boilies/Fish Frenzy Pellet with a 10mm Monster Squid Boilie on the Hair and a Nash Fang X Hook.
