Its been a little harder on the lakes this last week for our Carpers the winds have dropped and temperatures a little higher all though carp not spawning as yet things have slowed down slightly. Maze lake has produced 1 Forty and 14 Thirties, the forty going to Darren Lewis from Worcester, Ben just scraping through at 40lb9oz a PB for him well done Darren. D Naraine on peg 8 landed a good 38lb 10oz mirror. N Edwards from Maulden enticed 2 thirties from swim 6 also a 22lb all mirrors using CC Moores live system. A Last from Ipswich had his PB Common with Meddusa 31lb2oz. P Lee from Wales had a good session on peg 3 landing two thirties two scan 30lb10oz and Rose 33lb10oz and R Lee same peg had a 23lb 14oz mirror achieving 3 Pb's on thier session, Paul and Ben enjoyed there visit to Pavyotts on peg 13 wth 4 carp from 23lb12oz to 31lb3oz using the Cell all Personnel bests. Clive Smith from Cardiff landed Jack 25lb 6oz. Mike Barlow and Bob Hern had a two week session and on this thier second week moving to peg 7 bagged over 11 carp including Sandy a beautiful 35lb8oz common who put up a good fight Bill 38lb4oz mirror Seven eights 35lb12oz Maisy another stunning common 28lb2oz Fairbrass 24lb7oz and several other 20's and doubles well done guys and congratulations at winning first prize in our friendly competition. Paul Williams on a short session managed to encourage Alfie on to the bank first time out this year at 29lb2oz.Karl King landed his first 30 at Pavyotts a PB for him with Joel Jnr using live system nice one ! well done to all those achieving PB's this week, several good twenties were also landed on the Maze and not forgetting Jades lake with 4 Thirties landed this week going to Roy Brough Atherstone, J Johns Worcester and P Williams. Joshes lake has produced some good fishing for Harrison and Blaise our two youngest carpers with over 30 fish landed including 3 twenties and 3 doubles and the rest up to 10lb its always good to see the young carpers returning and the dedication these two boys show is tremendous well done fellas.
