Burton Springs Fishery, nr Bridgwater

Had a quick chat with Adam at Burton Springs today, he tells me the fishery is drying out nicely after all the recent rain. The best carp out this week is 22lb 8oz, and all the carp caught this week have been 15lb+.

If your planning a 24 hour session the average catch is 2 fish, but they will all be over 15lb. Best bait recently is Mainline Cell but the fishier boilies are also working Shellfish B5 and Robin Red boilies have caught there share.

Adam best advice is to fish as light as you can get away with and you will catch more takes.

The coarse lake has been a bit slow lately but skimmers and perch to 2lb are showing, fish light with a pole and maggot, afternoons are better than mornings.
