This new Solace 10 reel is a direct competitor for the Shimano 10,000 XTR.RA, it has a unique ACS line clip which seems to work really well, if its as good as it appears, Wychwood are on to a real winner, The reel is also lighter than the shimano, the shimano reel weighs 615g while the solace weighs 553g, the line retrieve is greater on the solace, 83cm per handle turn on the shimano compared to 98cm on the solace.
